Full Professor at the Federal University of Paraná, in Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (1987), master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Paraná (1995), and PhD in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Paraná (2002).
Professor in the Veterinary Medicine course at UFPR; teaches Veterinary Clinical Pathology and Clinical and Toxicological Analysis in Veterinary Medicine.
Professor and Supervisor (Master’s and Doctorate) in the Postgraduate Program in Veterinary Sciences at UFPR. Professor and Supervisor in the Residency Program in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at UFPR.
Coordinator of the Veterinary Clinical Pathology Laboratory at the Veterinary Hospital. Member of the Editorial Committees of the Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Parasitology, “Ciência Rural”, Archives of Veterinary Science, and Research in Veterinary Science, etc.
Professional experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on Veterinary Clinical Pathology, working mainly in the areas of veterinary hematology (mammals, birds, reptiles, and fishes), clinical biochemistry, neosporosis, serological diagnosis, cell culture, and cultivation of Neospora caninum and Toxoplasma gondii.
