XXII International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology
Welcome to the XXII International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology Congress in Curitiba, Brazil in 2026. The dream of organizing the ISACP meeting in Brazil has finally come true! It will be the first time that this Congress is held in Brazil and the second time in South America since the Congress in Valdivia – Chile, over 20 years ago.
We are putting together an exciting, diverse, and captivating program that will be of interest to all. With this congress, we aim to highlight the importance of working in the present while considering the future in an integrated approach in the vast and varied field of animal clinical pathology, on a program built around state-of-the-art sessions, keynote talks, symposiums, research communications, and more.
Curitiba is the capital city of Paraná State, with almost 2 million residents, the largest in Brazil’s South Region. During the 19th century, waves of European immigrants arrived in Curitiba, mainly Germans, Italians, Poles, Japanese, and Ukrainians, contributing to the city’s economic and cultural development and richness in diversity. The city is in the Atlantic Forest region on a plateau 932 meters above sea level. While the city preserves and cares for its green areas, Curitiba has a long history of being intentional about city planning such as the transportation system, which includes lanes on major streets devoted to a bus rapid transit system.
Next year’s Congress is an opportunity to expand experiences, broaden and improve professional networks, share ideas, languages, perspectives, and cultures.
We look forward to welcoming you in Curitiba, Brazil.
Yours sincerely,
Beth Schmidt,
Chair of the XXII International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology Congress
