
Carolina Ríos Phillips, DVM, MSc.

Dr Carolina Ríos-Phillips, DVM, MSc, is Director General of Graduate Studies at Universidad Santo Tomás (Chile) and an academic specialist in animal clinical pathology with more than 15 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She earned her Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Chile and an MSc in Medical-Veterinary Sciences (Animal Health) through a joint Universidad Santo Tomás–Oregon State University program.
Her research focuses on clinicopathologic diagnosis across species and includes collaborations with Universidad Austral de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and international partners such as the University of Tennessee and Oregon State University. She has published work and presented at international meetings, including ISACP congresses. She served as President of the Chilean Society for Animal Clinical Pathology (2014–2018) and currently sits on the Board of the International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology (ISACP). She is editor/author of the Manual of Clinical Pathology in Companion Animals (2019).
