Alexandra Acco

Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Curitiba – PR, Brazil 

Dr. Acco holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), a specialization in Pharmacology and a Master’s degree in Veterinary Sciences from the UFPR, a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Cell Biology) from the State University of Maringá (UEM), and a postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Amsterdam. Currently, is working as a Full Professor of Pharmacology at the UFPR, where also supervises Master’s and Doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Pharmacology. Her research team works on the Laboratory of Pharmacology and Metabolism, with an emphasis on hepatic metabolism, toxicology, and oncology. Dr. Acco is a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (PQ-C).
