Dr. Camila Peres Rubio, DVM, PhD, is a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the University of Murcia (Spain), where she leads projects on oxidative stress, redox biomarkers, and analytical validation in veterinary species. Her research focuses on developing and applying innovative biochemical assays to assess animal health and welfare using non-invasive samples as saliva.
She currently coordinates the BIO-SEP Project funded by the Spanish State Research Agency and has previously led initiatives on exosome biomarkers (ATTRACT–RyC) and redox assays (RyC2021). Camila has authored numerous international publications and actively contributes to European research networks, including the COST Action EU-SABV. She also serves as President of the International Society for Animal Clinical Pathology (ISEAS), promoting translational and comparative approaches to clinical pathology.
