Gabriele Rossi is an Associate Professor of Veterinary Clinical Pathology at Murdoch University (Western Australia. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2006 at the University of Milan and was awarded with a PhD at the same institution with research focused on the investigation of new diagnostic biomarkers. He subsequently completed a residency in Veterinary Clinical Pathology and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology in 2013. Gabriele is the author of over 60 scientific articles and a book chapter. His research is focused on investigation of new biomarkers with a special interest in acute phase proteins and renal biomarkers, and analytical validation. His teaching spans general and systemic pathology, clinical pathology, and research methodology.
Gabriele directs a diagnostic laboratory within the animal teaching hospital at Murdoch University and serves as Chief Editor for Frontiers in Veterinary Science and as Section Editor for the Veterinary Clinical Pathology journal and member of the ECVCP Exam Committee.
