BVMS MVM PhD FRCPath, Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Pathology, Veterinary Diagnostic Services, School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine, University of Glasgow, UK
Hayley graduated from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 1995. After a few years in small animal practice and completion of a Master’s degree and PhD within the pathology department at Glasgow University she joined the clinical pathology team there in 2003 becoming Head of Service in 2006.
Hayley’s main interests within the service are maintaining efficient running of a very busy clinical pathology service with an eclectic range of species and laboratory client needs. She looks forward to talking about her teams’ experience and challenges over the last two decades as the veterinary profession has evolved in the UK and how they work their way through a period of significant succession within the team.
